DAY III

Like i said in the previous post...i read aaall about the different trails but also about the different viewpoints of the park and so on. This day started at 5 like the others, but just for me and Carmela (my super buddy) as always when we are on a trip. Even this time our expectation keep up with the reality that this place offered us. Maybe can be weird or at least unusual the thing that I'm going to tell but this is the simply truth: that park is like a tableau, or a movie or just like any other human masterpiece.

You can never get tired of this because every time that you're looking at you will find something new, a new detail or a sparkle, a shade or a dramatic change but it's not human this time. It's just Nature, something that we try very hardly to understand with our Science (and I can assure you that we are not so stupid doing that) and we can really enjoy this... this never ending learning process that took us here. It doesn't matter if you're looking a cancer cell in your microscope or the Grand Canyon show, you're always facing the Nature secret and if Marlowe was wrong we can save our souls in the process or at least not be punished just because we are so curious like Prometheus or Frankenstein (they're just the same).

Anyway we spent all day on another side of the rim making pictures and gloating. This time I chose a different trail, very long even this time but of course we did it just partially because we were suppose to spend the night in Vegas and the day after take our plane...and guess what..the only drivers were me and Carmela.

When I knew for sure that my US work travel was official I thought that this was the place that I must see before leaving and now I know I was right.

Most of the people imagine Vegas as amazing..With all the lights and the casinos, the clubs and the limos....Vegas is a big fake city in the middle of nowhere. It's hot like hell and the life stage is basically inside the huge hotels/casinos but the positive thing is that you can stay all day in the pool if you are not interested in gambling and you've hiked for 2 days sleeping 4/5 hours per day and...we had Jacuzzi in our room... so my night in Vegas was not crazy at all...beer, hot bath and mellow pillows...fuckyeah!

The day after we just relaxed in the pool eating best cheescake ever and drinking beer... I tried to read but it was impossible because was full of idiots trying to bang me (in this country they live sex in free way that I mostly appreciate).

We were at Caesar's Palace...a funny lampoon af Rome...American style nothing to say! So the first stop was at Cheescake Factory.....wow!!! Besides the fake Rome all around us wa fun see the galleries and relaxing! but that place is like a cage...there are no natural lights and everything...like EVERYTHING is artificial...sorry guys but Italians do it better!
